• Bids Being Accepted for VSC Project

    SalusCare, Inc., a Fort Myers, Florida based not-for-profit behavioral healthcare agency, is accepting bids for the following project:

    Improvements to the Vince Smith Center facility, located at 2450 Prince St., Fort Myers, Florida 33916.  Improvements include, but are not limited to, replacing plumbing/piping at the facility.

    A pre-bid conference to view the project will be held on March 11, 2020 at 9:00 am at 2450 Prince St., Fort Myers, Florida 33916.  At the pre-bid conference, vendors will receive a bid packet.

    Sealed bids must be received by March 20, 2020 at 5:00 pm, either hand-delivered or mailed to:

    Bids received after March 20, 2020 at 5:00 pm will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.  All sealed bids received by the deadline will be opened on March 21, 2020 at 9:00 am in Bldg. E at 2789 Ortiz Ave., Fort Myers, Florida 33905.  Upon selection of a winning bid, SalusCare will send a bid award notice to the selected contractor with a date and time of a pre-construction conference.

    *The proposed project will be funded, in whole or in part, by HUD Community Development Block Grant Funds.  HUD Contract Provisions and Federal Labor Standards Provisions will apply.  A bid guarantee in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany all bids exceeding $100,000.  Disadvantaged Business Enterprises/Minority Business Enterprises/ Women Business Enterprises goals have been set at 10%.
